Our client has an opening for an Advertising and Publishing Sales Executive. The Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting, identifying opportunities, building new business relationships and generating revenue for a variety of print and on-line media products.
The candidate must have experience selling print or interactive advertising to media buyers at agencies, or selling directly to media buyers at organizations. Print sales experience includes: selling "general" or "direct response" print ads into a weekly or monthly magazine, newsletter, or newspaper. Interactive sales experience includes: selling Web advertising such as online banner ads, text ads or banner advertising in e-newsletters, or dedicated 3rd party e-mail marketing. Must have 3-5 years of media sales experience with superior communication and presentation skills as well as "hunter" instincts. Undergraduate degree is required.
