The Position
Under technical direction, the Senior Study Director, will oversee all phases of market research studies for assigned clients by either performing or coordinating activities required for successful studies.
Responsibilities
- Assists the AVP in writing proposals and responding to RFPs including, generating bids from vendors and job costing
- Coordinates and implements projects for assigned clients to include screeners, discussion guides and questionnaires, sample selection, fieldwork monitoring and data collection and analyses
- Ensures that all activities are done accurately, efficiently, within budget and in a timely manner
- Assists with client management; specifically acting as primary point of contact for day to day project related issues, progress and possible modifications to the program
- Assists in the creation of reports and presentations which address client issues
- Assists the VP in the presentation of research reports and proposals
- Stays current on trends and developments in the area of market research
- Performs other essential duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of two to three years industry experience or
- Graduate degree with minimum of two years industry experience
- Working knowledge of research processes and analyses and the ability to run projects
- Good knowledge of the department's policies and practices as they relate to market research initiatives
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, handle and see projects through completion
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines
- Able to work under pressure
